About Our ScreenprintsThe Destination prints of Northumberland, the Scottish Western Isles, South West Wales and East Yorkshire are inspired by vintage British bus blinds. We love the country and coastal routes of our childhood, at the beach or exploring castles and country. The Northumbrian dialect print is an original design by Samphire Bay. It celebrates our unique language, history and community. It makes people smile when they read it!
You can buy the prints framed or unframed - if you buy framed, please make sure you read our policy on sending glass through the post. And if you want to create your own destination or dialect style print with place-names or phrases special to you (or as a special gift) - just visit the Commission a Print page on our website. Our art prints are hand screen-printed in Northumberland. Each print is individually hand-pulled to create a high quality piece of artwork. Part of the beauty of screen printing is that each print may vary a little. The inks we use are manufactured to a very high standard and contain no lead, chrome or other heavy metal compounds. They have a long durability so prints will not fade for over 30 years. The high quality paper is 170gsm Arctic White. |
